Life's Rant - A Modern Twist

The thing about life is,
Sometimes it gives you lemons,
Sometimes it just flings crap on you,
Sometimes it lets the sun shine on you,
Other times, you're just in the shadows.

So we wait patiently for life to give us some sort of hope,
A shimmer or gleam of joy,
At the end of a tunnel.

We try and beat life as we live it,
But we can't
So we go along,
Beating down any obstacle that comes our way,
Because it makes us better people.

But life bogs us down,
So do not give up,
For one day,
Life will let you take a deep breath,
Before you drown yourself again in the shadows again,
So take that deep breath and then plunge,
Plunge into life,
Own it,
Its yours to claim.

When all else fails,
Hey, life's a bitch,
I'd just say,
Deal with it.
